2024 Regional Indoor Champs & MICA Event at SNAC

SNAC is pleased to host the 2024 edition of the indoor national 10-ring championship, and MICA Pan American Event.  These events has been registered for both national and international records and award pins.

Regionals Date:  Sunday, March 03, 2024

MICA Date:  Sunday, March 24, 2024

9am practice; 10am scoring
1pm practice; 2pm scoring

Fees:  21+ & 50/60+  $30      U21 & younger $20

This completes our outdoor tournament schedule for 2023.

Our next event is our 40th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, August 26, 2023.  We look forward to seeing you then!

Shawn Matheson qualifies for Para World Champs at SNAC

On June 11th, SNAC ran 2 WA720 rounds.  Thank you for everyone who attended.

During the afternoon round, SNAC member Shawn Matheson shot his 3rd and final qualification score to represent Canada at the Para Archery World Championships in Pilsen, CZE later in July this year.

2023 10-Ring Provincial Championships well-attended

Congratulations to all our archers, friends and guests who shot this week during our annual Ontario Provincial 10-Ring Championships.

Quintin Fawcett leads the way at 2023 IFAA Champs

Congratulations to all our fearless archers who showed up in some pretty hazardous driving conditions to shoot the 2023 Provincial IFAA Championships at SNAC today!

There were many good performances today, with several PBs, including Quintin Fawcett’s 299 / 300 in the U18 Compound Division.

The Recurve Division was led by Shane Bryson (267/300) and Pam LeClair (266/300)

To all participants in SNAC leagues and/or tournaments, you and your family are invited to our medal presentations.

We will recognise and honour the participation and accomplishments of our club members during this past indoor season for:

  • League results – youth and adult

  • Provincial & National mailmatches

  • OAA indoor championships  (IMPORTANT:  If you received a medal in the mail, please bring it with you for presentation)

  • OFSSA medals

  • indoor national medals

  • MICA medals (if available)

We will be offering cake and juices on:

June 26 at 5:30pm

just before our CDN League starts

&

Noon to 3:00pm on Saturday, June 29.

Drop by to pick up your medals.

If you are NOT able to attend our celebrations please drop by during business hours any day from June 29th onward.

Congratulations to all our participants as we welcomed 3 new archers to our tournaments.  Welcome back to Crystal Foster who has been unable to shoot tournaments for over a year.

Special shout-out to Mohamed El-Halawani (SR M Rec) who shot a PB 552 on the round today.

Our next tournament is OAA Championship Week:  February 18-24.  Classes are suspended during this time.  There are only a few spots available on Wednesday night.  If you wish to participate, please contact Kathy or Larry ASAP.

2018 OFSSA Archery Tournament Participants Highly Successful

OFSSA archers travelling from eastern Ontario with Kathleen Millar shot this annual tournament, which has been running for over 30 years. Kathleen has trained local high-school aged archers during these years to take advantage of this unique opportunity; Ontario is the only province running a high school archery championship. 

The archers were very successful!  CONGRATULATIONS!

Payton Halpenny, women recurve – SILVER MEDAL

James Drynan, standard division – Well Done!

Matt Irven, Jared Wicks, Taylor Bazinet and Jason Larmour, compound men’s team – BRONZE MEDAL

Hannah Rousseau, women compound – GOLD MEDAL
